Moving Simplified

I was moved from Lake Wylie, Sc to Denver,Nc on Jan 12, 2017
I found my pole lamp stuck in the corner, behind 2 mattresses so I wouldn't see it right away, found it,the base of the pole lamp broken in peices, the movers Did Not have the presence to tell me they broke my lamp.
This was on Jan 12, here it is April 27, have not received compensation for this broken lamp. Eric Snyder ther owner has been promising to send a check for $ 50 to me since end of Jan.,

I will never recommend this company to anybody.

Very disappointed in this company. My mother in law hired them to move her out of our house and into a new home she purchased. The contract was for two movers and a truck. The morning of they called her and changed it to 3 men and jacked up the rate. The men had no moving equipment with them other than blankets. They left marks, holes, and dents in the walls in my home and my mother in laws. Some of the repairs will require more than spackle and paint. It's been over a week now and the owner is not returning any of our calls and has yet to send anyone out to review the damages and come up with a plan to fix them. On top of that, he saw my negative review on Google and said he wouldn't come out to fix the damages until I took down the review! Do not hire this company if you value your home and your furniture.

Like they did my belongings and the house I moved into, use this company. I felt like I had more moving experience than the "movers" Eric sent to do the job. My experience included: "Movers" were late "Movers" did not have tools necessary to do the job (they borrowed mine) Scratched my dining room table Scratched the hardwood floors in my rental house Did not place furniture as I requested Stained my fabric couch Scratched the front of my flat screen TV because, according to Eric, having a furniture strap around their neck when they are carrying electronics is standard practice I would recommend looking at other comapanies. Price was not less than other quotes I had received. Good luck!

PLEASE NEVER USE MOVING SIMPLIFIED. They were available on short notice and had good pricing, and here's why: they break things and lose things. I didn't complain openly before because he gave me $1000 for breaking my king mattress (which cost $3200 to replace). Now the brand new prelit Christmas tree I bought after the holidays last year is missing and the owner isn't willing to do anything.

They broke the mattress, lost my tree, and delivered a desk chair, headboard, and bedding that weren't mine. 2 boxes of boots, shoes, and clothes are missing. They broke my piano bench. They delivered trash to the new house that they were supposed to remove from my old house. They hooked up my washer wrong (did come back to fix it). They knocked over our neighbor's mailbox at the ground level & drove off (they paid to fix it after the neighbor called them).

Tell all your friends and realtors not to use this company. I've filed a complaint with the BBB (They already have several complaints).

I don't usually write reviews and it has taken me awhile to write this one but I have to let people know the unprofessional service I received from (Eric) Moving Simplified. I had used them in the past and was satisfied but this time it was a very different story.
They were late as usual and they did not have any tools when they arrived even though Eric reassure me they would have their tools with them this time but they didn't.
The movers were kind but without the tools it took awhile to break down my bedroom set. More money out of my pocket.
After I moved into my new apartment later that week when I was ready to put my bed set together I notice I did not have my eight wooded stilts that goes to my bed. I call Eric a couple of times before I finally received a callback from him. He said that he would check his lost and found and call me back. He never did. I called and left messages after messages and after a week or so he called me back stating that he could not find them and he would personally come over and see what he could do to get my bed back together. He never showed up nor did he call me. I called and spoke to one of his employees. He said he would text him and call him to see what's the hold up. I waited about 2 hours and callback but the guy on the phone said he had not called or text him back. I have not heard from Eric at all and it has been 3 months now. My bed is without its wooden stilts and it is not the same. Now I understand why Preston left moving simplified because of Eric;s unprofessionalism.
I would NEVER use this company again and if you chose to use Moving Simplified make sure all of your belongings are with you before they leave you because if you wait and call Eric about missing belongings you will never received them just like me and he doesn't care after he received his payment.
